April

April is pretty stacked. There's the Great Dane on April 2nd and there's the Sky way classic on april 3rd. The Great Dane is going to be fast as hell, 20 min race. I have to train myself so I can do 40 kmh for 20 min. I want to do some attacks and they can catch me, they WILL catch me if I was only going like 35 kmh, You always go faster in a group.
My brother Adam Kosela did the Great Dane. He won a lot. There are people that recognize my last name and say, "Are you Adam's brother? He was such a good rider!!"

The Sky Way classic deosn't have any Junior cats. so i have to race with Cat. 5 or race with my dad meaning Cat. 4/5
I dont know, Imight not race with adults already. Season just started.  I will probably just do the Great Dane.

Til next time,
David Kosela

This Weekend

This weekend was great. I had Friday off from school. I went on my trainer for like a 30 min spin. Get used to the position and gearing. This bike, this Pinarello Galileo, is the love of my life. I got used to it in a matter of 2 days.
Saturday, my first ride outside the bike was amazing. My dad thought i was crazy going through the turns that fast. We had a great average. Waterfall Glenn makes champions, at least me. *Laughs*

Sunday, the day I'm posting this was amazing. 50 km, 32.1 kmh average. My shoes have been bothering me all winter season. Today I went to Performance Bike and got some Giro Scottos. $150 shoes, I got them $100. Great deal.
My bro and my dad got into a facts/calm fight. They were fighting over wether or not to get me legal, USCF junior gears. My dad was defending his idea, keep the same gears but just block off 1 or 2. 20 Minutes later. My brother asked me to send him pictures of my chainring. I sent him the pictures then he asked me a few questions then he told me something cool.

He said, "I'm going to get you 52 chainring, 14-25 cassette. If he wants to waste money on ME, then go ahead. The upside about it is that I'm going to get some new chainrings! I didn't say anything to him other than "Alright." Oh well, we'll see if he does get that stuff.

Tomorrow, I have to go on a easy 20 km spin. It might rain but it's going to be like 60 degrees so I'll just have to steel my mom's water proof wind breaker because I don't have my own.

Well, that's my weekend check up! Bye,
..........David Kosela...........

OH YES!

March 3rd, 28 more days til the official cycling season begins!! 2 days ago I switched back to my Galileo. I have some Xero wheels on it for training and some Campy Protons with some 25c tires on them waiting for the races. Heres the bike------->

I can't wait to get used it, then tear it up! But, there are a few things I need to get. One of those things, the most important thing, GET A NEW DERAILLEUR! The second thing is to get black hoods. I have fake red ones on right now because the real one get old, worn't out, AND loose. If they weren't lose, I would still be using them.

March 12th is a special day, at least for me. As you know, PL+US cycling team is my very first team. On this day, I get me new cycling kit. The guys from PL+US said the material is the one that the pros literally use. Because I'm the only Junior (9-14 and 13-15), the team and I treated this as a sponsorship. No, I don't get my own team bike, BUT, almost everyone has Pinarello. But at least I got all of my kit for free. I didn't put "all" in caps because shoes, helmet, sunglasses, and winter hats are kit, i didn't get for free but that alright.

Well, that's it for a while, PEACE.

(By the way, I'll have a better picture of the bike later, I took this off my Instagram.)
