Today I went outside for 30km. I would have went further is two things didn't happen, one, my dad's leg was cramping from the start and two, we got caught up by two of his cat 1/2 friends. We went fast AF. My dad fell back and i barley kept up with them. I then felt bad for my dad a km back, i slowed down for him and he gave me the signal to just keep going. I caught back up with the guys again and then we just stopped and waited. By the way their names are Stasiu and the other guy i don't know. When we stopped they gave me a crap ton a compliments FYI 2. It was like "damn your good!" or it was more like, "cholera jestes dobry!" Then they said "your are going to be something." I then showed them the IL state champion jersey i was wearing and told them about the other 2 hanging on my door.
We rode 20km with them then they left to finish a fast person's session. I was tired and my legs felt like i raced with these guys so me and my dad went easier for the last 10km. It was pretty tiring because i felt bad for my dads pain and decided to give extra long switches. Cycling is fun, but there is always something that helps you have fun. TRAINING. If you train you will go faster and be able to keep up with fast people like me. ::Laughs::
I did not choose the right drink today. I decided to drink TEA instead of water. That was a horrible choice. We finished the ride and my stomach started to hurt. Then we went to kfc to get dinner. I saw my friend there and we talked. Then i had a heat flash and sprinted to the bathroom. Then i made and explosion out of my mouth. IT BURNED! It felt so much better afterwards. MY stomach did't hurt anymore. I looked like a ghost but that's ok. Well, now i know that i can't have those kind of hydration fluids. Good thing it was on a training ride rather than a race. That would have sucked. It tasted so much when the boom was over, I NEEDED A MINT. No one had one so i bought a soda.
This season I will be getting my race wheels. I'm saying what they are but they are good enough to be my race wheels and the campagnolos training wheels. I'm probably going to use the Xeros as the training wheels. I feel bad for the campys. I'll save them for spare race wheels. If i crash at a race and destroy the Mav.. I mean race wheels i'll hav ethe campy's as my spares and race with them until i get the mav..... i mean race wheels get repaired.
Tomorrow i might go 40 to 50km. Tomorrow will also be 16 more days til i get my race bike back and 16 more days til my legs get bald for the first time in the new season. Tomorrow i will be using normal water for the training ride. Hopefully i drop my dad and finish the ride before him an dhave the gap like 2 min.
Any way thats it for today, Bye
David
