Oh no/ YAAAY

Okay so today's training was bad. As in i did it late. And sorry for not blogging yesterday. I forgot. Back to the training. Today was good but i didn't feel good while i was on my bike.

In December, I have winter break. It's about two weeks and 2 or 3 days. I can't wait because I'm going to Wisconsin to train on the big climbs. I got second on a race there so I might train on the course. The climbs where massive. Any ways, i need to rest for tomorrow.

MTB

This winter I might cross road biking with mountain biking. I have all the gear for MTB so why not. :Laughs: I just wen't on a 2 hour ride on my MTB. Today I'm not going on the road bike because of that ride. It was so fun though. On a road bike you kind of have to be careful with what you do to it. On a Mountain bike,  you can throw in jumps, skids, lot's of off-road! MTB"s are usually heavier than a road bike so its good training for the spring. I'm probably buy a MTB that actually fits me.

What do you think Should get? > David

Symbolism

TRAINING

First off, my training today. It was really nice, I wish I had a day as good as today when I'm doing my 40-50 km days! :Laughs: I don't feel like putting a picture of my training up so please just look on my training diary! Here's a link and you can find it on my blog-------------->

Symbolism

Now for the part that I was wanting to say...
What stuff symbolizes for me, for example

A lot of sweat on a shirt: Hard work and effort

Heavy bike: A person that doesn't care about the wight of a bike

Bike: Just a machine to race on train on AND have fun on

That's some of the thing's i was thinking of earlier. That's it for today....
Good Bye> David

Training

My training today was shorter than I needed. I'm not going to make an excuse, I just stopped. It was decent though, it should be on my training diary, if your lazy than here's what I did.....

Remember, I use KMH not MPH. I think that was pretty good today considering i had mechanical problems with my brake. It was rubbing the whole and i didn't know because I was wearing headphones. Oh and, Tomorrow, I won't be going going to Water Fall Glenn because it's going to rain the whole time. So, I'm going to go on Saturday.

Keep on checking for updates and crud, there is always something new.
Until next time> David

P.S. I'll talk about my sis on Saturdays blog and I will tell you how she does and keeps up.

Pre training / Motivation / Tomorrow

What I always think of before a training, WHY DO I GOTTA DO DIS!!! Then i remember one race where I got mad at my self because I wasn't strong and wasn't winning races. Now when I don't want to train, I think of 2014.

One major thing that motivates me is Marco Pantani. If you live under a rock here's what he looks like -------
                        I
                        V

This is Marco. He is the worlds best climber. He's dead though. But he is still my motivation. Since we're talking about climbing, tomorrow, I'm going to Water Fall Glenn on a mountain (Kona Shred) that's my brothers. On the trails, there are  A LOT of climbs. Did I mention that I'm a climber? Well I am :Laughs:

Okay, that's it for now, I'll Blog later about my training and tell you some more about tomorrow. Till next time > David

Training This Week

So, my training today was great! I hopped onto my indoor trainer for 45 minuets. With a 40.1 kmh average got me to 30 KM. That's a great start to this week!. I'm trying to get 150 km a week if not more.  My father was surprised when I told him about my training today. This morning, he went on his rollers and rolled for about 20 minuets. I could tell he was impressed on how I improved from the start of the spring until now.

This week of school, i only have Monday and Tuesday off then I'm off to thanksgiving break. I cannot wait, tomorrow is Tuesday which is my last day of this week. I'm not going to ride in the morning like normal but I'll hop onto my indoor trainer for about an hour and a half. Starting next month, I'll try to get above 350 KM a week.

Well, i guess that'll be all for today's blog, how is the page improvement so far? Make sure to check out the links for my training diary> Till next time, David~

Training Today/ My week/ Future Training

Today, with my dad, I went 30 km with a okay average of 29.9 kmh. We where wearing a crazy amount of layers today. I had, a cotton long-sleeve, a jersey, thick jacket, wind breaker, cotton socks, and thick over shoes. Plus the air was really cold, my body wasn't used to that yet because this is the first freezing ride we had of the season.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to go on my indoor trainer for about 45 min. I'm going to repeat training's like that for the week then the Monday of that week I'm going to rack up miles and spend a lot of time on my trainer hopefully 1 hour or 2(about 50-60 km) or if i go outside then about 30 km or more. I'm looking forward to winter break because I'm going to have a week training camp at Wisconsin or maybe Colorado.

This week has not been so good training wise. I've been forgetting to go running and now i have to run in the cold. I've also had some very short rides around my area they where a little more than 10 km. It was really warm on one day so I rode a fast 20 km. I missed about two days. When I miss a day, it's my worst day ever. My quads hurt A LOT, my knees hurt, my calves feel like they need to be stretched every 5 seconds, and at night i don't sleep well. Just so i don't skip a day from the bike i decided to make a doc that i have to follow. Let's say i miss a 20 km day, the next day i have to double that and add the distance I was supposed to go that day.

Okay that's it for today, expect edits on how the page today.

Category Racing/Bloomington race

In my "About Me", I said I ride in 9/14 in USCF, 13/14 in ABR, and in CAT. 5 in both organizations. I don't have to follow the racing age rules because my b-day is in January. I did my last 10-12 in ABR Woodale Criterium State Champion Ship. I took the top step on the podium and the winners jersey.
Okay, now let's talk about the real reason I'm talking about Cat. racing. In the IL Blooming State Champion Ship. I got second to a 14 year old. I felt not to good that race though. I'm a climber and one of the climbs, my favorite kind of climbs, the ones I do best at, put me down in the gutter. This was the worst course ever. The roads where thin and there was a crash at every corner. I'm not scared of 90 degree turns in races. I ride through them like i have no brakes.

I guess I'm happy that I didn't crash. Okay, back to the road. The rode had pot holes and cracks every where. My handle bar moved down. I was an idiot for not wanting to stop. fix it, and get a free lap. I was happy that I didn't get any pinch punctures or any flats. I'm say that because some drunk was putting nails on corners. So, my race time was delayed. There was so many categories racing. It was cat 4 women, 9-14 junior boy and girls(in separate CATS.) and 15-18 junior boys and girls. The course was packed.

I only have been racing seriously for one season. I have 2 people in my family that were and one of them still really good riders. My dad Wojciek Kosela and my brother Adam Kosela. I always had proper stuff, as in I dressed normally.  In the race, ALL but i mean ALL the Cat. 4 women cut sleeves of their jerseys, weren't wearing socks, and they cut their cycling shorts shorter. They where probably trying to avoid tan lines.

Okay that will be it for right now, later I'm going on a training with my father, I'll probably blog about that later.

Till next time>David

The 2016 cycling seaon

Ok, last post of the day, I promise, I'm just gonna talk about a few things from the season. I won. 2 races out of 7, BTW, they  were IL State Champion races and one of them was a TT. Everything else I got second. For me, I think that's good considering this is the first season i actually took seriously. Ok, now i'm done, I promise. BTW there will be improvements on how the blog looks.......

Winter Training

WAZAAAAAAAAAA!! Later on maybe in the spring time, I'll get a picture of myself in my kit for my profile pic. But that's gonna take patience, spring is in 1340 days and the cycling racing season starts sooner. But, for a lot of people(like me, *Laughs*) the season doesn't end. Winter just means no races, unless you live in a warm place. I just had to get that off my chest.

Intro, I guess.....

Ok, here we go! This my new cycling blog! My name is David. I don't ride with any team at the moment but hopefully i will ride with ABD in the spring.

The site I'm going to use now...

This is my new cycling blog. My previous one i messed up and didn't like it. So, this is the one im going to use.
